Sockapal-4-za Concluded
Every Wednesday I work a double. That means my feet support my weight for 9 hours with but a slight rest in the interim between our lunch and dinner hours. By the time I get home, I can think of nothing else but sitting down to rest my aching soles.
I was not expecting a box. There it was, an innocuous little cube, sitting outside my bedroom door. What could it be? Had I bought something recently? Why aren’t the scissors next to it, so I can finally sit down?
Luckily, my Sock Pal had helpfully labeled the package with “Sockapalooza.” Then I knew what to expect. But when I opened the package all expectations were blown away.

Twisted Flower Socks, by Cookie A.
Of course, I put them on my sore little tootsies right away.
I’m happy to announce that my Sock Pal is Beth, from Michigan. Along with the socks, she included a bunch of little goodies that made me smile.
A couple more pictures:

They’re made out of Fleece Artist Sea Wool, in “Moss.”

Proof that she picked the perfect yarn: a skein of Sea Wool I’d bought for myself.
Thank you, Beth! I can hardly believe that you were able to bring yourself to mail these away, but I will definitely give these a good home.

Wow! You got quite the package. Those are beautiful socks! I’ll have to give a Cookie pattern a try sometime.
